Our organization
FINESEC was created by Ministerial Agreement on January 13, 1998. Since then, our organization has brought together professionals, technicians, parents, and volunteers to fulfill its mission.
MISSION
The FINESEC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the necessary support so that people with intellectual disabilities and their families can enjoy a quality of life under conditions of equal opportunity with the rest of the citizens.
We are an innovative organization that improves every day and builds trust in people with disabilities with intense and pervasive support needs, in their families, in professionals and in society.
VISION
PRINCIPLES AND VALUES
- HIGHLIGHT Human dignity and its positive values over its limitations, beyond all circumstances
- RESPECT AND ENSURE RESPECT FOR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS STATED in the declaration of the rights of persons with disabilities, within the framework of the defense of human rights.
- PROMOTE the comprehensive training of the person with a disability through the development of all their functional adaptive skills.
- PROPITIATE the participation of the family, who will share the commitment to the actions proposed in each user's intervention plan
- PROMOTE and to support strategies for the participation of people with disabilities in all social environments.
- WORK to strengthen beliefs, values and principles that encourage people with disabilities to live in equality.
