Foundation for Educational and Social Integration of Ecuador – FINESEC
Based on a person-centered care model, the Day Center of FINESEC It is established as a specialized care resource open to the community, whose fundamental purpose is to contribute to improving the quality of life of each person with a disability, by listening to their interests and demands and promoting self-determination and independent living.
FINESEC The provision of its services is structured through Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) for each user. The objectives are to promote the social and labor participation of people with disabilities through the management and support of meaningful opportunities; to convey to the socio-family and work environment the potential of people with intellectual disabilities as active members of society; and to foster the establishment and/or maintenance of social ties between users, their families, and the community.

Los convenios de articulación entre el Centro Diurno FINESEC y diversas instituciones, universidades y organismos públicos y privados constituyen un pilar fundamental para el cumplimiento de la misión y objetivos institucionales. Estas alianzas estratégicas fortalecen el trabajo interdisciplinario, promueven la inclusión social de las personas con discapacidad y sus familias, y posibilitan el desarrollo de proyectos conjuntos orientados a mejorar su calidad de vida. A través de esta cooperación, FINESEC consolida su compromiso con una atención integral, participativa y de calidad, potenciando las oportunidades de aprendizaje, formación y vinculación comunitaria de sus usuarios.
